BI & Analytics Specialist (Power BI, Qlik)

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? We are seeking a BI & Analytics Specialist who will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining BI reporting solutions, with a primary focus on Power BI and supporting QlikView/Qlik Sense. You will ensure the reliability and performance of BI assets, enabling efficient data exploration and informed decision-making across multiple business functions and markets.

Responsibilities

• Run and operational support of BI reporting solutions (mainly Power BI, QlikView and Qlik Sense) across multiple markets
• New dashboards development and maintenance based on business needs
• Active participation in the assessment and cleaning of legacy dashboards (BI governance)
• Support the transition from legacy reports (Qlik Sense, QlikView and Power BI) to new Power BI dashboards on the modern data stack
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing BI reports and dashboards to guarantee availability, performance and data accuracy
• Investigation and resolution of incidents related to data refresh, report logic, access rights and performance degradation
• Support business users in report usage, data interpretation and issue resolution
• Coordination with Data Engineering teams to analyze upstream data issues and ensure end-to-end data consistency
• Management and support of batch-based data refreshes and dependencies on upstream data pipelines
• Impact analysis and validation for changes in data sources, data models or business rules
• Contribution to data quality, identification of anomalies, inconsistencies and reconciliation issues
• Maintenance and updates of BI documentation, including report logic, data sources and known limitations
• Support controlled changes and minor enhancements on existing BI reports within a RUN framework
• Participation in governance processes, including access management, report lifecycle management and standardization efforts
• Act as a key contributor during transitions from local vendors to scalable vendors, ensuring knowledge transfer and service continuity

Requirements

• Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, performance optimization)
• Experience with Qlik Sense and QlikView
• Proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data warehouse design principles
• Experience with Snowflake (queries, data structures, data extraction)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, relational structures and analytics workflows
• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

• Experience in BI governance and legacy dashboard assessment
• Exposure to multi-market BI environments
• Experience to support transitions from local to scalable vendors
• Knowledge of data quality and reconciliation processes
