Network Performance Engineer

🚨 Hiring: Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) Engineer (Network Engineer (Riverbed)🚨

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) with Riverbed Engineer to join our team and help drive enterprise-wide monitoring, observability, and operational excellence.

Job Location-Dubai

Employment Type Contract (1 Year Extendable Project)

Salary Budget-18K AED with Single Benefits

This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance visibility, and proactive issue detection across complex network environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage enterprise monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds and Riverbed NetIM

• Configure SNMP polling, device onboarding, thresholds, alerts, and health checks

• Monitor network availability, utilization, latency, and performance trends

• Analyze network and application performance using TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, and SSL/TLS protocols

• Handle incidents and change requests through BMC ITSM

• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using monitoring data and historical trends

• Develop automation scripts using Linux shell scripting and Python

• Collaborate with Network, Security, Server, and Application teams to improve observability and reduce MTTR

• Maintain dashboards, operational procedures, and monitoring documentation

🔹 Required Skills & Experience:

✔ Minimum 3+ years of experience in Network Performance Monitoring or monitoring-focused operations

✔ Strong hands-on experience with SNMP-based monitoring tools:

• SolarWinds

• Riverbed NetIM (or equivalent NMS platforms)

✔ Experience with Linux and Windows environments supporting monitoring infrastructure

✔ Strong scripting skills in Linux Shell & Python

✔ Hands-on experience with BMC ITSM:

• Incident Management

• Change Request Coordination

✔ Strong understanding of networking and application protocols:

• TCP / UDP

• HTTP / HTTPS

• DNS

• SSL / TLS

🔹 Preferred Skills:

⭐ Experience monitoring enterprise environments including Data Centers, WAN, Branch, and ISP links

⭐ Alert tuning, threshold optimization, and noise reduction experience

⭐ Dashboard creation, reporting, and performance baseline analysis

⭐ ITIL process awareness and operational best practices

⚠ Important:

This is NOT a Server/System Administrator role.

The primary focus is monitoring, observability, performance analytics, and operational support.

• Proactive approach toward issue prevention and operational stability
