About the Role

We are looking for a Kotlin Developer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on mobile application development, backend systems, and modern software engineering practices.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to Kotlin programming, Android development, APIs, asynchronous programming, and scalable application architecture, helping improve how AI models generate and reason about production-quality software solutions.

You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the correctness, scalability, and maintainability of AI-generated code. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for coding assistance, app development, and software engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including mobile workflows, backend integrations, and optimization strategies
• Annotate and evaluate AI-generated Kotlin code responses across different software engineering scenarios
• Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
• Diagnose and solve real-world mobile and backend development challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
• Assess AI-generated code for correctness, scalability, readability, and performance
• Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, logical inconsistencies, or edge-case failures in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
• Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on Kotlin development and modern application engineering

Requirements

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience with Android development and modern mobile application architecture
• Familiarity with APIs, asynchronous programming, databases, and backend integrations
• Experience with tools and frameworks such as Android Studio, Jetpack, Coroutines, or similar technologies is preferred
• Ability to critically evaluate code quality, software architecture, and engineering best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
