We are partnering with an innovative and ambitious technology company building a product that is gaining serious traction. They are looking for a Technical Lead to step into a pivotal role, guiding a squad of engineers while remaining close to the code and driving the technical vision forward.

The Role & Responsibilities

As Technical Lead, you will be the technical anchor for a squad of 4 to 6 engineers, balancing hands-on technical contribution with people leadership. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design, remove blockers for your team, and ensure the highest standards of code quality and delivery across a modern, cloud-native SaaS platform.

• Provide clear technical direction and guidance to a squad of 4 to 6 engineers, supporting their growth and day-to-day delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to prioritise and execute the technology roadmap.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making across a multi-cloud environment.

Your Experience

• Proven experience leading an engineering squad of 4 to 6 engineers, with formal people management responsibilities.
• Strong backend capability in Python and/or TypeScript, with confidence across the full development lifecycle.
• Solid frontend experience with React or a comparable modern framework
• Hands-on experience with Swift and/or iOS development, with genuine familiarity within the Apple ecosystem
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and experience designing and maintaining relational data models
