I am working with a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of finance and software, focused on improving how individuals interact with and manage their financial lives. The business is investing heavily in modern platforms, automation, and scalable infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.

We are looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to help evolve and optimise a cloud environment while introducing more advanced, automation-led ways of working, including the adoption of AI-driven tooling within engineering workflows.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, distributed engineering team and will play a key role in shaping infrastructure, deployment practices, and operational standards as the platform continues to scale.

Day-to-day:

  • Support the ongoing improvement, optimisation, and scaling of a cloud-native environment (AWS)
  • Contribute to the adoption of AI-assisted tools to enhance DevOps efficiency, reliability, and delivery speed
  • Manage day-to-day infrastructure needs, deployments, and system reliability
  • Partner with software engineers to support the rollout of new services and applications
  • Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure using modern IaC approaches (e.g. Terraform)
  • Work effectively across time zones in an async-first environment with clear, concise communication

A little bit about you:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS
  • Solid experience working with containerised environments (Docker)
  • Proven ability to build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting skills (Bash, Python, Go)
  • Good understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
  • Comfortable working in distributed teams with async communication
  • Interest in leveraging AI to improve engineering and operational workflows

Desirables:

  • Exposure to identity and access management platforms
  • Experience across multiple cloud providers (Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks
  • Exposure to machine learning infrastructure or model deployment workflows
  • Experience with data or streaming platforms
