Elisa is looking for Senior Technology Specialist for the maintenance and development of network management systems

Employment: Permanent contract

Location: Tampere, Helsinki, Oulu, other Elisa office in Finland

Job Description

You will act as Senior Technology Specialist in the maintenance and development of network management systems and participate in software and system development on the Autonomous Networks Operations in Elisa's Telco Core -matrix team. The position can be tailored to some extent based on your previous experience and skills.

You already have several years of relevant work experience in a similar role. This position requires a determined attitude toward seeing assigned tasks through completion. You are open-minded to take on new challenges and want to actively develop your own skills. You have good problem-solving skills, and above all, you are self-directed and motivated to challenge yourself.

Skills And Qualifications

• A university or UAS degree (IT/ICT/Telecommunications) suitable for the position
• Experience in IT, OSS or NMS systems maintenance
• Experience with various operating systems, especially Linux (RHEL), as well as Windows server
• Experience with virtualized and kubernetes platforms and CNF life cycle management
• Experience with databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres)
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• You are familiar with programming (Python and Golang)
• You are familiar with GitHub and GitHubAction tools as well as CI/CD
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies, especially mobile networks
• Readiness to work outside normal working hours and weekends
• Good communication skills with stakeholders in both Finnish and English
• Ability for analytical and logical thinking
  
  

We would greatly appreciate if you have experience in any of the following areas, in addition to those mentioned above:

• Experience with Ericsson or Nokia network management systems like ENM, EVNFM, ENIQ, cNELS, NCD, NCOM, EDA
• Experience in project management
• Experience in ITIL
  
  

Please note - the chosen candidate will undergo drug test and a security clearance vetting, which in turn requires having stayed in Finland for multiple years.
