• A blockchain-enabled e-prescription system using advanced electronic signatures
• A pharmacy SaaS portal with click & collect functionality

Signature Pharmacy

is our online pharmacy platform, powered by a custom-built e-commerce system that processes over 10,000 orders monthly.

We are scaling rapidly and looking for an experienced backend-focused engineer to help shape the future of our infrastructure and products.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with 4+ years of experience who is passionate about building scalable systems and solving complex technical challenges.

You will play a key role in:

• Refactoring and improving backend architecture
• Designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
• Leading technical projects and mentoring developers
• Building APIs, services, and integrations across our platforms
• Using AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity
• Collaborating closely with frontend, product, and operations teams
• Delivering reliable software used by thousands of users every month

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience
• Strong backend development experience (Node.js, Typescript, PHP (preferred)
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of databases, system design, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience refactoring legacy systems and improving performance
• Team player with leadership and communication skills
• Passion for clean code, scalability, and product quality
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• Interest in AI tooling and modern engineering workflows
• Open to relocating to the UAE

Nice to have:

• Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or e-commerce platforms
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
• Startup or high-growth company experience
