Group Product Manager

The LHR Group
India · Full-time · Mid-Senior

Our client is a B2B Marketplace. As a Group Product Manager, you will not just manage products - you will own a business line. You will be responsible for driving GMV growth, margin expansion, and capital efficiency across multiple interconnected product surfaces, at a time when the company is scaling rapidly and preparing for a public market trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business-Backed Product Strategy

- Define and drive a multi-product roadmap tied directly to P&L outcomes (GMV, take-rate, margins, credit penetration, repeat behavior)

- Identify structural bottlenecks in commerce and supply chain flows, and convert them into product opportunities

- Balance growth vs. profitability vs. risk across product decisions

2. Building for Scale (0→1 and 1→10)

- Lead the development of new product lines from zero to scale, especially in underdigitized workflows

- Evolve existing products into high-throughput, reliable platforms handling complex logistics and financial dependencies

- Design systems that work in real-world, constraint-heavy environments (fragmented supply, price volatility, offline behavior)

3. Deep Customer & Market Translation

- Build a nuanced understanding of MSMEs, contractors, builders, and manufacturers

- Translate offline trust mechanisms, negotiation behaviors, and credit dependencies into digital product experiences

- Solve for adoption, trust, and repeat usage, not just feature delivery

4. Metrics-Driven Execution

- Define and own north-star and input metrics such as:

o GMV growth and quality

o Conversion and funnel efficiency

o Repeat purchase behavior

o Credit adoption and utilization

- Drive a culture of experimentation, iteration, and data-backed decision-making

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

- Lead multiple squads across engineering, design, data, operations, and business

- Act as the integrator across product, supply chain, and finance teams

- Influence senior stakeholders on trade-offs, priorities, and investment decisions

6. Team & Capability Building

- Mentor and scale a team of PMs/APMs

- Establish strong product thinking across teams—problem framing, prioritization, and execution rigor

Requirements:

1. 8–10+ years in product management with ownership of large, complex product areas

2. Experience in B2B platforms, marketplaces, supply chain tech, or fintech ecosystems

3. Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business outcomes, not just ship features

4. Strong execution depth in high-growth or scale-up environments

5. Ability to operate in ambiguous, operations-heavy contexts
