leWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer, this role combines the management application systems, deployment processes to ensure accurateand efficient releasesof new features and the maintenance of uptime, performance, and reliabilit
y.
The successful candidatewill join a team of engineers responsible for maintaining currentand future technical platforms – conduct fault diagnosis and remediation activities as well as ensure and maintain the securityof platforms acrossthe Lloyd’s List Intelligence technical esta
te.
This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the DevOpsEngineering Lead. This role is balanced working in our Chennai off

- da).Own CI/CD pipelinedesign, implementation, and continuous improvem
- ent.Embed security across all infrastructure layers, including patch management and complia
- nce.Automateoperational tasks and improve observability and monitoring practi
- ces.Maintainclear technical documentation and SOPs for all operational proces
- ses.Collaborate with Product, Software,and Data teamswithin an Agile sq

- ntialBachelor’s degree in software, network, or cybersecurity (or demonstrable equal experi
- ence)4+ years of hands-onexperience in a DevOps Engineerrole, including production AWS environm
- ents.Proven AWS experience, ideallysupported by relevantcertifica
- tion.Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisio
- ning.Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch and improving deployment proce
- sses.Hands-on troubleshooting and debugging experience across: SQL, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, C# (.NET Core), S3, FTP, AWS Lambda, and HTTP/RESTAPIs (including legacy standards such as S
- OAP).Solid operatingsystem administration skillsacross both Windows(Wintel) and Linux environm
- ents.
Strong Linuxfundamentals and networking knowledge, including web servers, firewalls, and network ro - uting.Familiarity with automation tooling (e.g. Jenkins) and runtime monitoring tools (e.g. New R
- elic).Familiarity with analytical and data warehousing technologies including Redshift, OpenSearch, Athena, an
- d SQL.Familiarity with microservices architectural design patterns leveraging relational and big data technol
- ogies.A disciplined, self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously improve systems and proc
- esses.Proficiency in written and spoken En
glish.
