About The Role

We are partnering with a purpose-led technology business operating within the education and public sector domains. This organization is committed to developing impactful digital platforms that enhance learning experiences and public engagement. They are seeking a talented Product Designer (UX/UI) to take ownership of the user experience across their learner-facing products. This pivotal role within the product team focuses on elevating UI design standards, establishing clear and consistent design guidelines, and delivering accessible, engaging, and user-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working on complex products where thoughtful design directly influences user engagement and progression. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical skills, creative flair, and a user-focused mindset. Essential qualifications include experience in UX/UI or product design, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI work, comprehensive user journey thinking, and tangible evidence of design impact. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar is required, along with the ability to make informed decisions based on limited user feedback. Confidence working within structured, standards-driven design environments is crucial. Desirable qualifications include experience in digital learning platforms, understanding accessibility best practices, and familiarity with behavior-focused products. Additional skills such as creating interactive prototypes and working closely with developers will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity UI designs that translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.
• Design comprehensive end-to-end user journeys that are accessible, engaging, and simple to navigate.
• Ensure consistency of user experience across multiple products and diverse user groups.
• Develop and uphold design guidelines and standards to promote uniformity and reduce subjectivity in design output.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to streamline the design process and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Utilize feedback, analytics, and user insights to inform and refine design decisions continually.
• Demonstrate the tangible impact of design work through measurable improvements in engagement, usability, and user progression.
• Address the unique challenges of designing for users with varying levels of digital confidence, diverse learning needs, and low motivation.
• Prioritize accessibility, ensuring all designs are inclusive and easy to use for a broad spectrum of users.
