Network Engineer - Lisboa

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

  • Network Architecture Design:

-Develop high-level and low-level designs for LAN, WAN, wireless, SASE and cloud networking;- Oversee deployments and migrations of network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and access points;- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, challenging assumptions and proposing innovative approaches;- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to customer needs;

  • Define standards and best practices across multi-vendor environments;
  • Design secure network segmentation strategies incorporating Zero Trust principles.
  • Solution Implementation:
  • Validate configurations and conduct testing to ensure solutions meet performance and security objectives.
  • Customer Engagement:
  • Develop network transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals;
  • Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and training.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings and delivery methodologies.

Profile

  • Bachelor degree or higher;
  • Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade network solutions;
  • Deep knowledge of at least two of the following or similar:

  • Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Panorama, Prisma Access);
  • Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
  • Expertise in routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and security policies;
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, NSE, Aruba Certified Design Professional);
  • Experience integrating network solutions with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure);
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform);
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture frameworks.
