ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and improve a widely used low-code platform, working across APIs, integrations, and backend systems built on Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate with product, design, and QA in a geographically diverse agile team, contributing to architecture decisions and eliminating technical debt through engineering best practices. The role spans the full product development lifecycle, from concept through release and iterative improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, build, and improve a low-code platform using Java;
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA in a geographically and culturally diverse environment;
- Develop and optimize APIs, integrations, and backend systems;
- Eliminate technical debt by applying engineering best practices and creative approaches;
- Keep high standards of solution quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

MUST HAVES
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, proactivity, and ownership mentality;
- Hands-on best practices in developing new and modernizing existing software systems;
- 4+ years of experience as a hands-on Java developer;
- 4+ years of experience using the Spring framework, including SpringBoot;
- 4+ years of experience designing complex architectures and modernizing existing ones;
- Hands-on experience with API development and web services;
- Strong communication skills;
- Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Hibernate;
- Experience migrating from old versions of SpringBoot and Hibernate;
- 2+ years of experience as a hands-on Front End developer for responsive web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, or similar.
