Sr. Back End Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sariyer for a Senior Back End Developer. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing back-end services, APIs, and databases. They will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, troubleshoot and debug applications, and ensure high levels of performance and responsiveness. The Senior Back End Developer will also participate in application architecture designs and contribute to improving the development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Software, Electrical-Electronics, or related fields)

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years of production Go

• Proven experience designing and building high-traffic, scalable backend services

• Deep PostgreSQL expertise — query plan analysis, indexing strategy, lock and transaction management

• Production experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and ClickHouse

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)

• Strong command of containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes

• Working experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, NATS, SQS, etc.)

• Concrete project experience designing data flows under KVKK, GDPR, and PII requirements — data minimization, anonymization, and access control practices

• Strong testing culture: unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Active participation in code reviews and architectural decision documentation (ADRs, etc.)

• Preferably experience building AI/LLM-based systems with RAG or fine-tuning

• Excellent English, written and spoken — for technical documentation and collaboration with international teams
