Senior Network Engineer(Upto 12k, CISCO Firepower)

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and deployment of Cisco Firepower solutions (FMC and FTD) for network infrastructure projects in alignment with the client’s business objectives and technical requirements as detailed in the SOW.
• Integrate Cisco Firepower solutions with the broader network architecture, ensuring secure communication, optimal performance, and compliance with internal and client-specific security protocols.
• Provide expert-level guidance and hands-on support for troubleshooting, optimization, and ongoing management of Cisco Firepower devices, including FTD and FMC.
• Work with project managers, cross-functional teams, and clients to ensure all network security configurations meet the scope and deliverables as outlined in the SOW. Participate in client meetings to assess and refine network requirements.
• Ensure that network solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the technical specifications outlined in the SOW. Track progress against project milestones and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, change management, and troubleshooting processes. Provide detailed network performance reports to internal teams and clients.
• Continuously assess and optimize the Cisco Firepower infrastructure, focusing on performance, security, and redundancy.
• Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the network engineering team.
• Ensure all network solutions align with industry security standards and best practices, including regulatory requirements outlined in the SOW

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of network engineering experience, with experiences specializing in Cisco Firepower solutions (FMC and FTD).
• Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Cisco Firepower firewalls, including Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and Firepower Management Center (FMC).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security best practices.
• Experience with network performance optimization and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex network and security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring delivery according to the requirements in the SOW.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
