Back End Developer

This is a ground-floor opportunity to architect and build a system that solves a problem most of the industry has given up on: delivering modern, AI-native security to enterprises that can't move sensitive data to the cloud. It's a genuinely hard technical problem, and the approach is unlike anything currently on the market.

You'll own the management layer for a distributed embedded system from scratch — designing policy structure, configuration reliability, and secret management with no legacy code and significant autonomy alongside some of the worlds best in the domain.

If you're a backend engineer who wants to build something foundational — not maintain it — and you're energized by working on complex distributed systems with real-world security implications, this is worth a conversation.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer
• Strong proficiency in a subset of modern backend programming languages (Go, Python, Node.js, Rust, etc.)
• Deep understanding of database technologies, their performance characteristics, and use cases
• Proven experience designing, building, and securing modern RESTful or gRPC-based APIs for highly available systems
• Experience with Policy Engines and policy-as-code frameworks
• Strong understanding of security and secret storage technologies
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Frontend experience is a plus
• Experience with modern cloud providers and DevOps experience is a plus
• IoT and Embedded system experience is a nice-to-have
