Junior-Senior Game Engineer – Munich area – Up to €65,000 (d / m / f)

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance gameplay features
• Architect and implement scalable gameplay systems
• Support and guide less experienced developers (if you are a Senior Engineer)
• Produce clear technical documentation and maintain well-structured and clean code in line with internal standards
• Integrate systems for tracking user performance and learning metrics within immersive VR applications
• Improve and fine-tune gameplay systems to achieve high performance, particularly in VR and multiplayer environments
• Work cross-functionally with other internal teams, such as technical artists and animators

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science, or similar
• 1+ year of professional experience as a Game Engineer
• 1+ year of professional experience using modern C++
• 1+ years of professional experience in Unreal Engine 5, as well as Blueprint
• Knowledge and understanding of multiple implementations, such as behaviour trees, crowd simulation, EQS, etc.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in German would be beneficial
