For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you to join our team as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!


The proposed positions are:


  • Network Engineer for WAN (Wide Area Network) Connectivity (m/f/d)
  • Network Engineer for Data Center Connectivity (m/f/d)
  • Network Engineer for Campus Connectivity (m/f/d)


As core member of the infrastructure team, you will manage the end-to-end stability of the network, balancing strategic oversight with high-level technical support.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Assume comprehensive technical responsibility for the German network infrastructure, ensuring stable and high-quality operations based on ITIL standards.


  • Responsible for technical implementation of the network infrastructure, in accordance with contractually defined KPIs and SLAs


  • Collaboration with other IT departments and teams within the context of projects and the implementation of new solutions requiring network infrastructure support


  • Planning and cost management for the network infrastructure (including continuous development and improvement)


  • Technical support for root cause analyses, particularly in the event of service disruptions


  • Management of highest-level administrative access and permissions within the designated area of responsibility


Candidate Profile - Key Requirements:


  • Education: Electrical Engineering or Computer Science minimum Master's / Diploma degree) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation of Network infrastructure solution, or as an IT Project Manager.


  • IT In-depth knowledge of WAN, VPN, and encryption services (Client VPN and Genua Site-to-Site solutions), as well as one or more of the following technologies such as LAN, WAN, WiFi, and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management), is indispensable.


  • Knowledge of ITIL processes—specifically the Service Operations phase - is required.
  • Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points, and EfficientIP is desirable. Cisco certifications are an advantage.


  • Languages: German and English both business fluent


Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.


Place of Work: Taufkirchen (Bavaria) or Immenstaad (Baden-Württemberg)
