The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an Electrical System Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Luxembourg.
As an Electrical System Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the technical development of spacecraft electrical systems, with a focus on avionics architecture, interfaces, and system-level integration
- Contributing throughout the full mission lifecycle, from concept definition and requirements engineering to AIT, launch, and in-orbit commissioning
- Developing and maintaining electrical system architectures for space missions
- Performing requirements engineering activities, including analysis and flow-down/up of electrical and interface requirements
- Acting as a technical point of contact for electrical systems with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors
- Maintaining spacecraft budgets and parametric models related to electrical systems
- Defining validation, verification, and test plans for electrical subsystems
- Supporting integration and testing activities of electrical units, including reporting and troubleshooting
- Contributing to AIV/T planning and system-level verification activities
- Supporting Product Assurance activities and participation in technical reviews such as PDR and CDR
- Writing and supporting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for avionics and power electronics units
- Managing subcontractors and supervising hardware deliverables
- Supporting architecture and product development for future spacecraft electrical systems
- Generating technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Your Profile
- BSc or MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the aerospace industry
- Previous experience in systems engineering, avionics, data handling, or power electronics
- Strong understanding of system-level requirements, interfaces, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of space program lifecycles and participation in major technical reviews (PDR, CDR, etc.)
- Familiarity with common space standards such as ECSS or MIL standards
- Good understanding of electronics design, integration, testing, and fault diagnosis
- Experience with EMC constraints and mitigation measures is considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple technical topics simultaneously
- Experience interacting with institutional customers such as ESA or national space agencies is a plus
- Fluent in English; French B2 is considered an asset
