Product Manager - AI Productivity

Overview

Salsify has made AI Productivity a major company initiative. We are looking for a Product Manager to help identify, prioritize, and drive work that measurably improves how teams across the company operate using AI — and to personally build the solutions, tools, and programs that make it happen.

This is a building role, not a coordination role. The person in this position will own AI Productivity as an internal product area and as part of Salsify’s AI Task Force, partnering with teams across the organization to find high-value opportunities and then doing the hands-on work to bring them to life: using AI to build an internal app, standing up agents, running hackathons, and creating the guides and tools that help teams go from idea to working solution.

The right candidate brings a strong product management mindset and enough technical fluency to move projects from concept to execution independently. They should be comfortable owning a roadmap, aligning stakeholders, driving measurable outcomes, and equally comfortable configuring an AI agent or prototyping a workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Productivity roadmap — partner with teams to surface high-value opportunities, set priorities, and drive them from idea to execution
• Build hands-on — configure agents, build internal tools, and create the enablement materials that take ideas to working solutions
• Run experiments and internal pilots — define success metrics and hypotheses, test quickly, and make clear decisions about what works and what should scale
• Drive adoption — run hackathons, trainings, and demo days; translate results into repeatable practices that stick across the org
• Track outcomes and stay current — maintain a clear view of adoption and impact across the portfolio; apply new AI tools and workflows pragmatically

Ultimately: Salsify is operating meaningfully and measurably more efficiently across key business functions, quarter over quarter — with clear evidence of work that has been replaced, augmented, or transformed through AI.

• Teams have moved from ad-hoc, individual AI experimentation to a deliberate, scalable AI Productivity practice — with a clear roadmap, measurable outcomes, and an organization that knows where to go to get support and see results
• Experiments lead to clear decisions: work that gets replaced outright, augmented to be faster and higher quality, or transformed so people are spending their time on higher-value activities
• AI Productivity investments are tied to concrete business outcomes, with evidence of what works and a roadmap for what comes next

Qualifications

• Product management experience — roadmap ownership, prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution
• Hands-on AI fluency — direct experience with LLMs, agents, and AI tools; you've built real things, not just evaluated them
• Experimental discipline — can define hypotheses, set success metrics, run internal pilots, and make clear decisions from results
• Strong judgment in ambiguous spaces — pragmatic and outcomes-focused, able to bring structure to new areas quickly
• Communication that bridges audiences — equally effective with engineering teams and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience building and managing internal tools, automation, or productivity-focused products
• Track record running internal pilots, hackathons, or adoption programs for new technology
• SaaS or B2B software background
• Experience using operational data and metrics to evaluate business outcomes
