About the Role
We are seeking a technically adept and client-oriented Pre-Sales Manager to lead the pre-sales' function and support business development initiatives for our AI and IT solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and client-facing teams by crafting solution proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and responding to RFPs. You will play a key role in shaping technical strategy during the sales cycle, especially in complex AI, cloud, or enterprise IT environments in the UAE and GCC markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Proposal Development
• Understand client requirements and design tailored technical solutions using AI, cloud, and enterprise IT products.
• Create solution architectures, technical proposals, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that meet both technical and business needs.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed technical input and solution documentation.
Client Engagement & Presentations
• Support the sales team in customer meetings, acting as the technical lead during discovery sessions and solution discussions.
• Deliver product and solution demonstrations tailored to client use cases across industries (e.g., government, BFSI, healthcare, smart cities).
• Conduct workshops and solution deep-dives with client technical teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and project teams to ensure seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery.
• Provide feedback to product and development teams based on client needs and market trends.
• Work with marketing teams to contribute technical input for case studies, white papers, and product collateral.
Technology & Market Expertise
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the company’s product offerings and competitor landscape in the UAE and GCC.
• Contribute to positioning the company as a thought leader in AI and enterprise IT through technical storytelling.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting roles in the tech sector.
• Strong experience working with AI platforms, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS solutions, or enterprise IT systems.
• Proven track record supporting high-value deals with public and private sector clients in the UAE or GCC.
• Familiarity with proposal writing, cost estimation, and technical bid support.
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both technical and business-level)
• Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and proposal-writing skills
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Knowledge of UAE procurement practices and government project environments is preferred
