Senior Software Engineer (Java / Angular)

Occupancy: 100% / Start date: 01.06.2026 / Initial duration: 17 months

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java / Angular) to support the ongoing development of modern trading applications in the structured products and securities domain. You will work in an agile environment, contributing to both backend and frontend systems that are critical to financial trading processes.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Develop and enhance Java-based backend services using Spring technologies
• Build and maintain Angular/TypeScript frontend applications
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
• Analyze and resolve complex functional and technical challenges in the trading domain
• Participate actively in agile development teams and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best engineering practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in software development in enterprise environments
• Strong skills in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Framework
• Good knowledge of Angular and TypeScript
• Experience with Gradle/Maven and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with automated testing (JUnit, Jest, Selenium)
• Understanding of trading or financial markets is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work in complex domains
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2+)
