Senior Java Developer

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend components and RESTful APIs supporting enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong collaboration skills, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and performance testing.

 Conduct code reviews, promote best practices, and mentor junior developers.

 Collaborate with architects, analysts, and DevOps engineers to define and refine technical solutions.

 Support deployment, cutover, and hypercare phases, ensuring stable releases.

 Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.

 Maintain and update technical documentation for services, configurations, and interfaces.

 Contribute to technical design discussions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and cloud strategy. Requirement. Conformity Criteria

 A minimum of 10 years working experience as a Java developer

 Demonstrable experience -minimum 5 years with microservices architecture

 Demonstrable working experience with integration with SAAS solutions

 Demonstrable experience -minimum 5 years with Spring framework

 Minimum 2 days per week onsite

 C1 level (or equivalent) proficiency in spoken and written English

Evaluation Criteria:

 Core Java Proficiency: Uses OOP, collections, streams, and exception handling effectively

 Frameworks & Libraries: Applies Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle, testing frameworks  API Design & Integration: Designs clean, reusable REST APIs, respects standards and security
