Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer / QA Lead (male/female) who enjoys building reliable products and improving the way teams approach quality.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of QA practices across the development lifecycle — from defining testing approaches and improving automation coverage to helping teams ship with confidence. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to make quality part of the everyday workflow, not just the final step before release.

This is a hands-on role for someone who’s comfortable balancing strategy with execution: improving processes, mentoring others, and still diving into automation and testing when needed.

What you’ll be doing

• Define and improve our QA processes, standards, and testing strategy
• Lead test planning and coordinate testing activities across projects
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using WebdriverIO, MAestro or other testing frameworks
• Work closely with development and product teams to ensure quality is considered from the start
• Investigate issues, support root cause analysis, and help improve overall product stability
• Review test coverage and identify gaps, edge cases, and high-risk areas
• Support and mentor other QA engineers
• Help improve CI/CD testing workflows and automation integration through Bamboo
• Contribute to a culture where quality is shared across the whole team

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, including automation
• Strong experience with WebdriverIO and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks
• Good understanding of CI/CD workflows and testing in agile environments
• Experience working with tools like Bitbucket and Bamboo
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to balance attention to detail with a practical, delivery-focused approach
• Previous experience mentoring others or leading QA initiatives is a big plus

Nice to have

• Experience testing modern web applications built with React
• Experience testing mobile applications
• Experience with API testing and performance testing
• Familiarity with test reporting and quality metrics
• Experience scaling QA practices across multiple teams or projects
