Job Summary

As a Project Manager in our PMO, you take ownership of exciting cross-functional projects in a technically demanding environment. At the same time, you actively contribute to building and shaping our PMO – from defining structures and standards to establishing best practices. You keep a clear overview of scope, timeline, cost, and quality, and bring diverse stakeholders together to get things done.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive projects end-to-end – from initial idea through to successful delivery
  • Define project scope, break down work packages, and develop realistic timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams (e.g., engineering, operations, finance) and a wide range of stakeholders, including external ones such as authorities
  • Identify risks and dependencies early and proactively implement mitigation measures
  • Ensure clear, structured, and audience-appropriate reporting up to senior management level
  • Facilitate decision-making and resolve challenges in a pragmatic and proactive way
  • Contribute to continuously improving project management processes and tools
  • Support operational and infrastructure-related projects, including equipment implementation, facility modifications, or production capability expansion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment, or 1–2 years with a Master’s degree
  • Experience within semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom environments, industrial operations, or technical infrastructure projects is highly beneficial

About You

  • Strong technical understanding combined with a high digital affinity (tools, data, systems)
  • Confident in managing stakeholders across functions and seniority levels
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Structured, reliable, and hands-on working style with a high level of ownership
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience working with external contractors, authorities, or permit-related processes is considered an advantage
  • Experience with manufacturing expansion or equipment implementation projects, particularly within semiconductor production, cleanroom, or technical infrastructure environments, is a plus
