Scrum Master

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support the establishment and scaling of a new GIS Hub platform within Distribution SE. The platform will serve as the central GIS solution hub for all GIS-related initiatives and is being developed on the ESRI ArcGIS platform.

The selected candidate will play a key role in building and coaching a newly formed Agile Scrum team, ensuring Agile principles and Scrum methodologies are effectively implemented across both business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and guide the team in Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including:
• Daily stand-ups
• Sprint planning
• Sprint reviews
• Retrospectives
• Support team self-organization and cross-functional collaboration
• Remove impediments and shield the development team from disruptions
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, and stakeholders
• Drive alignment between business objectives and IT delivery
• Help establish governance, workflows, and Agile processes for the GIS Hub
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource planning, and delivery tracking
• Monitor team performance and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Assess team composition and recommend additional resource needs where necessary

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT industry experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and Scrum principles
• Proven experience coaching cross-functional teams
• Experience facilitating collaboration between business and IT stakeholders
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive Agile transformation and team maturity
• Experience working in enterprise-scale IT environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GIS applications and GIS-related projects
• Exposure to ESRI ArcGIS platforms
• Knowledge of enterprise platform implementations
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams

Language Requirement

• Swedish language proficiency is mandatory
