Python Developer - Wroclaw

We are looking for experienced Python Backend Engineers (Polish speakers) to join a growing engineering team building scalable, high-availability platform solutions supporting advanced data-driven applications and real-time processing environments.

This role is focused on backend and platform engineering, with an emphasis on designing resilient distributed systems and production-grade services in cloud-native environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Design and support distributed, event-driven systems handling real-time data flows
• Build reliable APIs and microservices architectures
• Work within AWS-based infrastructure and cloud environments
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams on system scalability, reliability, and performance
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical improvements
• Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Required experience:

• 5+ years’ commercial experience in Python backend development
• Strong background building scalable production systems and platform services
• Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Solid knowledge of APIs, microservices, and backend architecture
• Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimisation skills
• Must be able to communicate in Polish and English

Desirable skills:

• Experience with streaming or messaging technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis
• Exposure to high-throughput or low-latency systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, or DevOps practices
• Experience working alongside data or analytics platforms
