Job Description:

Required Skillset:

• SME in various DevOps tool sets not only limited to Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, CHEF.
• SME in handling UNIX/LINUX platforms including, installation of various required software, running required upgrades and maintenance of BAM/ADS framework and code.
• Good hands-on experience on UNIX shell scripting.
• Good knowledge on ServiceNow Release management process.
• Good knowledge on CyberArk.
• Developer knowledge on Control-M.
• Developer knowledge on Teradata SQL.
• Basic understanding on Python.

Good to have skills:

• Warehouse standards and structure.
• Knowledge on Warehouse framework.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Understanding Business Requirements: work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Designing Solutions: create detailed technical designs and architectural blueprints that meet the specified requirements. This includes selecting appropriate and approved technologies and tools.
• Understand the purpose of the outcome of ADS/BAM and the source and target systems involved.
• Technical Standards and Strategies: define and implement technical standards and strategies for the ongoing development and maintenance of the platform architecture.
• Engage with Sterling team and provide necessary support if required.
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the solution is implemented correctly and aligns with the overall business strategy
• Get the design pattern presented to and endorsed by ADS/BAM solution architect and chief engineer (Pradeep Dadlani and Srinivasa Rao Dhulipala).
• Facilitate the pattern endorsement with other required parties - Teradata DBA, data governance forum.
• Risk Management: identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the solution is robust and secure.
• Documentation: create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and design specifications.
• Testing and Validation: conduct thorough testing to ensure the solution meets functionality, performance, and usability standards.
• Continuous Improvement: analyze existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability
• Run the workshop with business team to explain the solution and how to integrate business code with ADS/BAM framework. This is very critical since the business teams may not have knowledge on technological tools – DevOps tools, Linux servers, etc.. .
• Co-Ordinate with multiple teams (Not only limited to RHEL, Teradata DBA, CAB, Control-M and Sterling) and implement the solution and code in production environment.
