Overall Role and Responsibilities


Manage day-to-day network operations, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve network performance and reliability.

Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP servers.

Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved in network installation.

Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to optimize network efficiency and security.

Support the deployment and management of Cisco SD-WAN solutions to optimize network traffic and enhance connectivity.

Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and arranging scheduled upgrades.

Create and validate Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) policies.

Develop and manage switching and routing Access Control Lists (ACLs).

Configure Palo Alto firewall rules to enforce network security policies.

Configure Cisco wireless solutions to ensure reliable connectivity and coverage.

Manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and ZPA VPN solutions for secure remote access.

Implement AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting), Dot1x, and TACACS+ for secure network access control.

Report network status and performance metrics to key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have the following:


5 to 8 years’ experience in a network engineering or related role.

At least an ITE/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, BEng, or BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Good understanding of network systems, including network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls, and security principles.

Cisco CCNP certification & Palo Alto PCNSE is required.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with others.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
