As an AI/ML Engineer, you'll help shape the future of AI at the core of a rapidly evolving business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to help shape the future direction of an internal AI capability.

Salary: $140k-$150k Base + Super + Bonus
Location: Sydney CBD
Hybrid | 3 days/week in office
What You’ll Do:
- Designing, building and deploying machine learning models across a range of use cases
- Working with both traditional ML techniques (regression, tree-based models, gradient boosting) and deep learning/neural networks
- Developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications
- Building scalable ML pipelines and contributing to platform architecture and best practices
- Deploying and managing models within AWS using services such as SageMaker and Bedrock
- Driving model evaluation, monitoring and continuous improvement processes
- Collaborating closely with engineering, data and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI solutions
- Contributing to MLOps practices including versioning, automated retraining, drift detection and performance monitoring
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong Python and SQL skills with experience building and deploying ML models in production
- Exposure to classical ML, neural networks and Generative AI/LLMs
- Understanding of MLOps practices including model monitoring, retraining and versioning
- Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP and cloud-based ML tooling
- Familiarity with Snowflake, SageMaker, Bedrock or similar modern data/AI platforms
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
