Job Description:

The Junior Data, Process and Reporting Analyst role aims to support data collection, processing and reporting optimization.

The role will be working closely with all DLC departments (Risk, BO and Controlling) and sub-departments (Product control, Credit, Controlling/Accounting, BO), as well as other Data, process & reporting analyst(s).

Main Responsabilities

  • Understand and learn the different IT systems and data used by the DLC stakeholders
  • Support the creation and maintenance of regular data reports received and produced by the DLC teams
  • Support the review, analyze and evaluate the data feed of business reports to align best with user needs
  • Use data treatment skills to improve data feed (quality, number of inputs, etc.) and reporting production
  • Teach data users to improve their skills in data processing and reporting
  • Use data reporting skills to optimize data exchange by developing standard reports wherever possible and explorer any other mean of data exchange between parties
  • Support the consolidation of reported information and data quality improvement with a focus on global data governance in agreement with Functional/Divisional Manager and sustain their activities by acting as an advisor when required, to facilitate the dialogue with the business and its employees.
  • Support the strengthening the data control environment by implementing automated process and calculation checks wherever possible, while exploring new ways to improve controls over data.


Profile

  • Degree or equivalent experience in IT / Business Administration
  • Minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience as business analyst in the full business analysis lifecycle, preferably in consultancy
  • IT affinity combined with the will to learn
  • Ability to analyze problems to build and structure pragmatic user-oriented solutions
  • Very good Excel knowledge, specifically:
    • VBA programming
    • Formulas and pivots to query large data sets efficiently
    • Power Query design (Power M, SQL understanding)
    • Complex Charts and Reports
  • High level knowledge of accounting terminology and principles is a plus
  • Excellent interaction and communication skills
  • Active listener, problem solver, facilitator
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau is a clear plus
  • Experience in agile transformation
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and to work collaboratively in a team
  • Relevant certifications a plus
  • Experience in working with standard tool suites
  • Flexibility to travel and work on-site at other Gunvor’s offices
  • Fluent in English, additional language is a plus
