UX Engineer

We’re partnering with a well-funded early-stage startup building an AI-powered operational intelligence platform for the food manufacturing industry. The company is focused on solving complex forecasting, production planning, and supply chain optimization challenges using advanced predictive analytics and modern AI systems.

They’re now hiring a Founding Design Engineer to help shape both the product experience and frontend architecture of a highly interactive B2B platform used by operational teams in real-world manufacturing environments.

This is a rare opportunity to join early, work directly with technical founders, and play a key role in defining how users interact with AI-driven insights and complex operational data.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end UX and frontend development process
• Design and build highly interactive interfaces for forecasting, planning, and operational workflows
• Translate complex datasets and predictive models into intuitive visual experiences
• Build AI-native product experiences, including chatbot and streaming AI interfaces
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams
• Drive rapid iteration using analytics, user feedback, and experimentation
• Help establish frontend architecture, product standards, and scalable UI systems

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and building B2B SaaS products
• Expertise with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and TailwindCSS
• Strong experience working with complex data visualization and dashboarding
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered products and agentic workflows
• Product-minded, highly execution-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced startup environments
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to operate independently
