PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Financial Services Transformation, German-speaking (Senior) Consultant (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Your mission: Our Financial Services Transformation Consulting team is growing and we are looking for a dynamic and motivated (Senior) Consultant eager to work in an exciting, challenging and rewarding multinational environment.

Our team specialises in the Banking and Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) industries, and helps our clients solve some of their most important problems – from strategy to operations.

In this role, you will be a fully integrated and valued member of our team, working closely with experienced management consultants as well as directly with our clients on assignments in the financial sector with specific focus on strategy, operations, systems and change management.

Our Banking & AWM consulting team delivers “360-degree solutions”, well-tailored to our clients’ needs, supporting them throughout their entire projects, from kick-off over process design to implementation and change management. Examples of typical projects are: “health-checks” and gap analyses, process optimisation, target operating model design and implementation, post-merger integration support, outsourcing support, market studies, benchmarking and vendor selection support.

Be a part of our team where you will:

• Assist our clients in defining strategy, operating models and processes;
• Advise on systems and solutions based on client needs and business requirements;
• Assist clients on the optimization of their performance in fields such as organisation, project management, operational tasks, process implementation, or data analytics;
• Perform market studies and benchmarking exercises;
• Contribute to business development activities by conducting research, drafting discussion papers and sharing your own ideas;
• Assist with creating offers/ proposals for our clients;
• Develop a strong expertise in regulatory and operational frameworks as well as market practices related to the Banking- and AWM industry;
• Support your team in building trusted relationships, developing new services and solutions.
  
  

Let’s Talk About You. If You …

• Hold a degree from a university, engineering school, or business school;
• Bring at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a bank, management company, or consulting firm;
• Have gained exposure to management consulting or the financial sector through previous roles or internships;
• Possess a solid understanding of key concepts, main drivers, and recent trends in banking as well as asset and wealth management;
• Show exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and critical judgment;
• Take initiative and can be relied upon to deliver;
• Work in an organized and structured manner;
• Learn quickly and grasp complex topics in a short time frame;
• Communicate effectively and with confidence;
• Thrive in team settings while also being comfortable working independently;
• Speak and write fluently in English and German;
• Are proficient in MS Office tools; additional skills in VBA, PowerBI, Alteryx, or similar are a plus.
