🌟 Founding Engineer – New Internal Startup (Enterprise Software for SMBs)

At Joppy, we’re helping one of our clients, a company in the enterprise software for SMBs sector, launch a brand-new internal startup. We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join from day 0 and help build the next generation of IT Management tools for thousands of businesses worldwide.

What you’ll do 📜

• Take ownership of major initiatives, focusing on outcomes, not just outputs.
• Work end-to-end on the IT Management domain, including onboarding, permissions, support, equipment management, ticketing, MDM, IdP, and more.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to break down complex problems and implement scalable, reliable solutions.
• Participate in customer calls to understand pains and needs, turning insights into actionable features.
• Mentor junior engineers, review code, and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
• Work in an AI-first, spec-driven development environment, building reliable products with automation and human-in-the-loop evaluation.

• Owner – you propose hypotheses, build, deploy, and validate solutions independently.
• Polyglot developer – experience across multiple coding languages, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
• Comfortable communicating in English in a multicultural environment.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails (backend) and React / JavaScript / TypeScript (frontend) is highly desirable.
