We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with strong expertise inOracle PL/SQLand enterprise integrations. This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys solving complex backend challenges, working with large datasets, and designing integration flows for mission‑critical systems. You will be a key technical contributor in a mature enterprise environment, driving backend development, optimizing data processing, and ensuring smooth communication between distributed systems.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop robust backend services using Java (enterprise-grade applications)
Implement business logic, service orchestration, and integration points
Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of backend modules
Develop and optimize advanced PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
Perform SQL tuning and improve data processing efficiency
Work closely with large datasets and complex schemas
Drive best practices around data modeling and database performance
Support and enhance REST/SOAP integration flows between systems
Troubleshoot data transformation issues and integration inconsistencies
Participate in technical design and architecture discussions

What You'll Bring Along

A University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position
Strong experience in Java backend development
Solid understanding of: Object-oriented design, Multithreading and concurrency, Service-oriented architectures
Deep hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development
Experience with Jakarta EE or Spring Framework
Good knowledge of SQL performance tuning at scale
Experience with Git or similar VCS
Experience with with CI/CD, build and deployment pipelines
Good knowledge of: REST/SOAP APIs, schema validation, and data transformation
Very good English and Germa communication skills, written and spoken
