About the project

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join one of our international teams developing modern, cloud-based banking applications within Raiffeisen Bank International Group.

You will be involved in building end-to-end solutions, combining backend services based on serverless architecture, data processing pipelines, and modern frontend applications, all delivered in an agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, contributing to scalable, event-driven solutions with real impact across RBI’s ecosystem.

Your mission 🎯

• Implements backend services using serverless architecture
• Technical implementation of frontend web applications
• Implement tests as part of development process
• Implement data import and streaming pipelines
• Support solution architects to define the software architecture
• Work closely together with business to deliver value in an agile environment
• Take end-to-end responsibility for changes throughout the delivery pipeline
• Be part of an international, distributed team

Required superpowers 💪

• Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree) or equivalent practical experience
• 4−5 years professional experience in developing and operating software solutions
• Excellent programming skills in Clojure & ClojureScript
• Experience in API-driven development and Microservice/Serverless architecture
• Very good know-how in developing distributed applications and data processing pipelines
• Practical experience with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins, Gerrit)
• Agile mindset and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
• Very good communication skills and structured problem-solving approach
• Very good command of English (mandatory), German is a plus
