Senior Java Software Engineer

🚀 We’re hiring: Senior Java Engineer (Remote)

RE Partners is looking for experienced Senior Java Engineers to join long-term projects focused on building high-performance, scalable backend systems.

We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working with distributed systems, and building reliable streaming data architectures at scale.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

• Deep Java expertise (Concurrency, JVM, JMM, Multithreading)

• Experience building streaming data architectures

• Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging systems

• Experience with Kubernetes (building Kubernetes Operators is a strong plus)

• Good understanding of Data Mesh, Data Lakes, and warehousing solutions

• Experience with Oracle and/or MongoDB

Nice to have:

• Docker experience

• OpenShift / Public Cloud experience

• Java profiling and troubleshooting experience

• Experience with Solace, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, or similar messaging platforms

• Knowledge of FX Risk calculations
