Job Title: Senior Android Developer

Location: Remote (client based in Krakow, Poland)

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with over 6 years of experience building complex Android-based products, including at least 2 years in a senior role. This is an exciting opportunity to shape scalable design systems, reusable UI frameworks, and modular libraries that power world-class mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop, and ship advanced Android applications and frameworks.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement scalable UI platforms.
• Drive technical excellence in concurrency, testing, and performance optimization.
• Lead initiatives in modular library and SDK development.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation and Gradle plugin development.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of Android development experience, with 2+ years in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Expertise in UI development with XML layouts and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with scalable design systems and reusable UI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of multithreading and structured concurrency using Coroutines and Flow.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, UI testing, snapshot testing, and debugging tools (Layout Inspector, Android Profiler, ADB).
• Familiarity with architecture patterns like MVP, MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC processes, CI/CD automation, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, and deployment tools.
• Experience building and shipping modular Android libraries, SDKs, and decorated APIs.
• Technical experience with Gradle plugin development.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design platforms.
