Project Details:

Location: Remote working in Ireland

Work Schedule: Full-time, 10 AM to 7 PM local time (Monday to Friday)

Compensation: $40 USD per hour

Experience: 3+ years’ experience required

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required

Contract duration: until June 30, 2025 (with possibility of extension)

What we are looking for

RWS Group is looking for an Ireland-based Team Lead Data Annotation to lead a team of data annotators, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Data Annotators, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines
• Lead talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the recruitment and alignment of top-tier talent perfectly matched to the specific needs and requirements of each role within the data annotation program
• Coordinate with stakeholders on task assignments and resource allocations, recommending suitable resources for specific tasks
• Track team utilization and optimize resource deployment
• Provide training and support to team members
• Foster a collaborative team environment and manage team dynamics effectively
• Implement feedback mechanisms to facilitate continuous improvement
• Resolve conflicts within the team and ensure alignment with project goals

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading annotation teams, fluent in English. Additional language knowledge is a plus
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work full time, from 10 AM to 7 PM local time (Monday to Friday), no exceptions
• Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with large-scale collection of human judgments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Appen Annotation Platform (ADAP) and machine learning principles
• Experience in a professional work environment
• Previous experience in data annotation or content review is a plus
