About The Team

The CommBank iQ Dedicated Analytics chapter operates as a strategic analytics partner, embedding analytical capability within long-standing client engagements. Leveraging de-identified transaction data, advanced analytics, and an AI-first approach, we accelerate insight generation, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making at scale. Our model enables deep client alignment, strong domain expertise, and the development of scalable data assets that drive sustained impact.

How will you make an impact?

• Analytics delivery: Contribute to analytics engagements by delivering end-to-end analysis – from data preparation and exploration through to insight generation and presentation
• Technical execution: Build analytical solutions using statistical methods, data science techniques, and AI tools to solve complex business problems
• AI-powered ways of working: Apply AI and automation to improve efficiency and streamline workflows, helping clients move from intuition to evidence-based decision-making
• Clear communication: Communicate findings through presentations, dashboards, and visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Quality and rigour: Apply quality assurance practices and maintain organised documentation of methodologies and outputs
• Continuous growth: Seek feedback, develop your technical and consulting capabilities, and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
  
  

What You'll Bring To The Team

• Experience: circa 3 years of experience in an analytics or data-related role
• Technical proficiency: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, SQL), with familiarity in data preparation, exploration, and analysis
• Analytical thinking: Sound understanding of statistical concepts and analytical techniques with a natural flair for problem solving
• Attention to detail: Strong commitment to quality and accuracy in everything you deliver
• Communication skills: Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, compelling stories for diverse audiences
• Collaborative spirit: A genuine team player who works effectively with colleagues and client stakeholders at all levels
