We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile:

Junior Infrastructure & Operations – SRE / DevOps / Sysadmin – Hybrid (Lisbon)

The client's Information Systems department manages the technology infrastructure of a major Portuguese telecommunications and entertainment group (TV, internet, voice, cinema, and digital channels).

The Infrastructure & Operations team (15 engineers) is responsible for on-premises systems (Linux/Windows), container clusters (Kubernetes), cloud environments (primarily GCP), and the Web Application Firewall layer (Cloudflare).

The team operates applications in production, including AI-powered services (virtual assistants, voice bots, digital touchpoints), and participates in a rotating on-call schedule (~1 week/month, compensated separately).

The focus is operational: running, monitoring, maintaining, and improving infrastructure and production applications, not writing application code or designing cloud architecture.

Requirements

• Linux sysadmin background (mandatory - servers, scripting, deep troubleshooting)
• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, load balancing, web service architecture
• Cloud operations experience - GCP preferred, AWS or Azure equally valid (operational, not architectural)
• Kubernetes / container cluster management in production
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform or equivalent
• Shell scripting + Python / Go / Perl for automation
• Experience with or curiosity about AI tools (Microsoft/Google ecosystems, MCP/AI agents as operator)
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (both required)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on infrastructure/ops experience; recent graduates with demonstrable technical exposure may be considered
