Senior .NET Developer I C# Bucharest, hybrid – Market Data & Enterprise Systems - Bursa de Valori Bucuresti

For our client, Bursa de Valori Bucuresti, a stable financial services provider, we are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join the IT Division, Market Data Processing team. This role focuses on the design, development, and long‑term evolution of mission‑critical enterprise applications used for market data processing and dissemination. You will work on systems where accuracy, performance, security, and reliability are essential.

This is a hands‑on role with end‑to‑end ownership across the software lifecycle, within a stable, critical, professional, and highly regulated environment.

What You Will Do

· Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications (web and desktop) supporting market data processing and distribution

· Ensure scalability, performance, security, and data integrity across all applications

· Build and maintain web services and APIs that support core business workflows and external integrations

· Develop services delivering market data information packages to internal and external clients

· Create applications and services for operational and business reporting

· Integrate data from multiple internal and third‑party sources, ensuring consistency and reliability

· Design, develop, and optimize MS SQL Server database components (stored procedures, views, functions, triggers).

Technical Expertise RequiredCore Technologies

· C# and Microsoft .NET Framework (4+)

· ASP.NET Web Forms and ASP.NET Web API (REST)

· Microsoft SQL Server (2014+) with advanced T‑SQL

· Windows Forms applications

Web & Integration

· JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Bootstrap

· AJAX, HTML5 (AngularJS considered a plus)

· Web services: ASMX, RESTful APIs

· Data formats: XML, JSON

Development Tools & Platforms

· Visual Studio

· Version control systems (SVN / VisualSVN – advantage)

· Windows operating systems

Professional Experience & Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

· Minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar roles

· Proven experience working with large, complex, critical, long‑lived systems
