We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join the Global Service Operations team for a leading energy company.. This is an ambitious and rewarding role in a collaborative, international environment where you will take full commercial and financial ownership of a defined portfolio of service and aftermarket projects. You will be a core member of the project team, driving both business performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of all commercial and financial matters across your project portfolio, including accounting, legal, tax, currency risk management and NCM
- Manage and optimize financial outcomes including revenue, gross margin, cash flow, balance sheet items and financing instruments
- Ensure accurate commercial documentation and project data throughout the execution phase
- Ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines and internal controls
- Maintain accuracy in project accounting and system registrations including SAP and global reporting tools
- Manage invoicing in line with project plans and contractual terms
- Handle bank guarantees, letters of credit and other payment securities
- Support the Project Manager in identifying and mitigating cost overruns and implementing lessons learned
- Support risk identification, evaluation and mitigation strategy development
- Some business travel may be required
Qualifications
- Relevant university degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- Experience in project finance, accounting or other commercial areas such as banking
- Strong collaborative mindset with a holistic, analytical approach
- Curious, unpretentious and comfortable asking questions
- Good IT and data skills, preferably including SAP, Excel, Teams and visualization tools such as Power BI
- Strong written and spoken English , additional languages are a plus
Meritorious Experience
- Experience from service or aftermarket project environments
- Familiarity with energy, industrial or engineering sectors
- Experience managing bank guarantees and letters of credit
- Additional European languages
