Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GoLang for backend development and hands-on experience with high-demand, scalable systems. Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery and Bigtable, is required. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, implementing efficient data storage solutions, creating APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize software performance and architecture.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in GoLang and backend web development
• Strong experience with high-demand, scalable systems
• Hands-on experience with GCP, specifically BigQuery and Bigtable
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software development principles
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize code for performance
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, team-oriented environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in scalable system design is a strong advantage
