Senior Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a sharp, experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join AI-powered healthcare startup's Agent Platform team! You’ll build the core systems powering AI agents at scale and help bring reliable, production-grade automation into healthcare.

What you’ll do:

Build and scale core systems for agent orchestration, memory, and state management

Develop infrastructure to integrate and evaluate AI models

Design APIs that enable rapid development of new agent capabilities

Own backend services end-to-end, from architecture to deployment

Collaborate with the founding team to shape platform direction

What we’re looking for:

4+ years of backend engineering experience (TypeScript/Node preferred)

Strong understanding of distributed systems, databases, and async architectures

Builder mindset—you move quickly and ship high-quality systems

High ownership and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

Background in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience

Nice to have:

Experience with platform or infrastructure systems at scale

Exposure to LLMs or AI models in production

Background in real-time or event-driven systems
