Network Administrator (Hosting Infrastructure)

Our Ideal Candidate

• Network Administrator with 7+ years of experience, preferably at a hosting provider, data center, or large distributed enterprise
• Hands-on experience in network design, modernization, or migration within data centers or corporate environments
• Strong understanding of provider-grade / DC network architectures, including segmentation, load balancing, and high availability
• Experience with Arista, Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar enterprise network equipment
• Practical knowledge of network security, including anti-DDoS, IDS/IPS, and firewall policies
• Ability to document infrastructure and create network diagrams, descriptions, and procedures
• Clear communicator, able to interact effectively with colleagues and partners
• Motivated to grow in network engineering and security

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and development of network infrastructure in data centers and remote locations
• Monitoring, analysis, and optimization of network performance
• Troubleshooting and resolving L3-level network incidents for clients
• Configuration of routers, switches, VPN tunnels, and firewalls
• Planning and execution of network expansion and modernization
• Implementation of monitoring and reporting systems (Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana, etc.)
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (instructions, diagrams, procedures)
• Close collaboration with DevOps teams, system administrators, and technical support

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering ISP-grade or complex distributed corporate networks
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network equipment (Arista, Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of network protocols and routing principles
• Strong understanding of information security and secure network design
• Experience with anti-DDoS, IDS/IPS, RADIUS/NAC, LACP, QoS, etc.
• Linux/Windows knowledge related to network services is a plus
• Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, the OSI model, switching, and routing
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues (latency, packet loss, routing loops)
• Experience with network monitoring and observability tools (SNMP, Zabbix, Prometheus, NetFlow)
• English, preferably spoken — B1 or higher

Working Conditions

• Remote work — a stable workplace without distractions is required
• Shift schedule, including night hours: 5/2 or 6/1
• Overtime may be required in critical situations

• Sole proprietor / contractor status required for the contract agreement
