The Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions that enable DTCC to be the trusted infrastructure of the global capital markets. The Impact You Will Have in This Role

As a Scrum Master at DTCC, you will play a critical role in enabling high‑performing Agile delivery teams. You will coach squads on Agile and Scrum practices, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability. You will partner closely with Product Owners, engineering leaders, and stakeholders to ensure predictable delivery of business value through disciplined execution and strong Agile practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a servant leader and coach to one or more Agile squads, promoting Agile values, principles, and best practices.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) with a strong focus on outcomes and continuous improvement. [
  • Enable predictable and stable delivery by improving sprint planning, flow management, and backlog readiness in partnership with the Product Owner.
  • Identify, track, and proactively remove impediments and risks, escalating when necessary to protect team delivery.
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, accountability, and transparency within the squad.
  • Drive Agile maturity by supporting current‑state vs. target‑state assessments and executing improvement roadmaps.
  • Track and communicate delivery health using meaningful metrics and outcomes‑based reporting.
  • Support release planning and cross‑team coordination to ensure alignment across delivery dependencies.

Talent Needed for Succeess

  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks with hands‑on experience serving as a Scrum Master in technology delivery teams.
  • Proven coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to guide teams toward higher performance and maturity.
  • Experience working with Product Owners and engineering teams to deliver incremental business value.
  • Ability to identify and resolve delivery impediments while influencing without authority.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in matrixed and distributed team environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of experience in Agile delivery environments, including Scrum Master experience.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Prior experience working within a regulated or large‑scale enterprise environment is a plus.
