Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Google Core

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with back-end languages like Go, Java, Python, or C++.
• Track record of documenting work and providing constructive feedback in code reviews.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g. TypeScript).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain UI components and web services for investigation tools.
• Support maintenance and operation of existing tooling.
• Participate in team on-call rotations to triage and resolve platform bugs.
• Collaborate with security teams to build capabilities and interfaces supporting security operations and our next-generation automation goals.
