We’re hiring a Project Manager (BTL Focus) to support a growing volume of below-the-line work across the Australian market. This role sits within an APAC Content Studio model, connecting Sydney-based stakeholders with an offshore creative and adaptation team in the Philippines and the overarching regional vision that is set up from Singapore.
You’ll be the bridge between market needs and creative execution — making sure briefs are clear, timelines are realistic, local nuances are understood, and outputs land to the right standard. This is a role for someone who understands that BTL work is not just about moving jobs through a system. It is about translating campaign intent into retail, print, activation, shopper, and point-of-sale executions that work in the real world.
BTL Project Management & Delivery
- Manage BTL projects end-to-end, from brief intake through to final delivery, with strong control over timelines, dependencies, and approvals.
- Own the day-to-day coordination of retail, POSM, print, activation, shopper, and adaptation workstreams, ensuring delivery is accurate, on time, and fit for purpose.
- Interpret, challenge, and clarify briefs so the offshore team has exactly what they need to execute effectively.
- Keep multiple projects moving at once, balancing speed, quality, stakeholder expectations, and production realities.
Market, Offshore & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the key point of contact between the Sydney-based teams and the offshore creative/adaptation team in the Philippines.
- Ensure local market nuances are clearly translated into actionable direction for offshore teams, so work lands appropriately for the Australian market.
- Build strong relationships across commercial, marketing, and studio stakeholders, keeping communication clear, responsive, and solutions-focused.
- Resolve blockers quickly and confidently, escalating only when needed and always with a recommendation in hand.
Creative Operations & Quality Control
- Support the localisation and adaptation of creative assets across BTL channels, ensuring consistency with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Bring a practical understanding of BTL execution and production realities, helping teams make decisions that are creatively strong and operationally feasible.
- Maintain strong project governance across workflows, trackers, and approvals so everyone knows what is happening, by when, and who owns it.
- Help improve ways of working over time, identifying opportunities to strengthen delivery efficiency, creative consistency, and collaboration across teams.
About You
- You have 5-8 years of experience in project management within a creative, production, or marketing agency environment, ideally with FMCG, alcohol, lifestyle, or luxury categories.
- You understand BTL production deeply — including areas like POSM, retail, shopper, activations, print, and adaptation workflows.
- You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, multiple deadlines, and multiple moving parts without losing the detail in a multi-market context and in a global matrix organisation.
- You know how to work with local and offshore teams, clearly translating expectations and keeping the delivery of creative production and adaptation smooth across locations.
- You’re highly organised, calm under pressure, and confident enough to push back, clarify, and course-correct when needed.
- You bring strong communication skills and know how to keep people aligned without overcomplicating things.
- You’re comfortable working in a matrixed, fast-paced environment where priorities shift and the brief is not always perfect the first time.
- You have the right to work in Australia without the provision of a work visa.
Please Note
Due to the high volume of applications, we unfortunately can’t get back to every one of you, and only successful applicants will be contacted. When you share your details with us, we consider this as consent for us to use your data during the application process. We may implement AI in various stages of the recruitment process, but human involvement will always remain as part of our hiring ethos. At the moment, MASH is not in a position to sponsor work visas, so you have to be eligible to legally work in the country where we’re hiring.
