Job Description

Our company, as an important part of the financial ecosystem, has launched our service with over 10 million users and the first initiative in Japan that enables asset management on a payment application. Now that the business foundation of the financial ecosystem is finally in place, we intend to expand our business to change the structure of asset management in Japan, with the main target being those who have not yet started asset management or were not interested in it before.

To achieve our goal, we are preparing to bring in technical talents not only from Japan but also globally, just as we have done with our product division. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be collaborating with engineers, designers and QAs, and working in an environment where you can be one of the founding members to build up a new organization within our company.

・Be part of the team to build up a new organization and environment

・Develop skills in making business plans from a high perspective, through the high-level coordination with departments and affiliated companies within the Group to support the top management’s decision

・Gain experience in a company that aiming to be the pioneer in the market to provide a brand new Mobile Securities services, which never had before during the era of Financial reformation

・Able to utilize our services and user base

Responsibilities

・Development and operation of products using web technologies, including mini-applications, PC trading sites, and business management tools

・Work closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to customize the asset management and investment experience

・Prototype development of new features and renewal designs

・Technical tasks including unit test improvements and architecture improvements, etc.

Qualifications

【求められる経験・スキル / required experience and skills】

・3-5 years of in-house web product development experience

・Working experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, TypeScript

・Knowledge of modern web development methods and JavaScript related frameworks

・Experience with Rest API integration

・Ability to work with a strong sense of ownership

・Business level in either English or Japanese (Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

・Experience developing Securities and Finance related applications

・Experience developing functionality while implementing unit tests (TDD)

・Experience with Agile development

・Experience in Front-end performance monitoring and optimization

・Experience building Front-end CI/CD infrastructure and deployment pipelines

・Experience in in-house service operation
