Location: Vienna, Hybrid (2/3 days in office)

This role will largely be focused around analysis, architectural design and web framework implementation. Key duties and accountabilities of the role will include:

• Design, develop and maintain complex web applications using the latest state of the art technologies

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms

• Provide recommendations for continuous improvements

• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientist, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions

Key skills:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, SciPy, NumPy, Pandas

• Ability to work independently, methodically and goal-driven to innovative topics

• Strong communication and team skills

• Good German and English skills

Experience & qualifications:

• Experience with Docker, Git, Linux, PyPI, Jenkins, AWS

• Testing frameworks for Python (pytest, etc.)

• Exposure to Machine Learning related projects either as a Software Developer or Data Scientist

• HTL degree and experience or degree in computer science
